Phoenix Airport christmas weekend

So I flew in to PHX on Christmas weekend, the Friday of Christmas weekend actually. the people were unreal, and then waited an hour and a half for luggage. was not an experience that was something that I would ever like to repeat. I ended up having to fly home on on southwest, and the more I think about it the more I think I will have to start flying them more often. This is the third time I have flown them, each time seems to be a little better, and now that I know I can guy the business class for a few dollars more, I think it might be worth it. Some of the ways that they do things seem to be much better at least in theory.

weekend update

Was a long weekend, but at least I got my bulk stuff out to the curb to be picked up. unfortunatly I will need to do some serious cleaning inside when I get back from Dallas.

I also went to my first NASCAR race... I actually really enjoyed it.

life and relationships.

I have been thinking about life and relationships tonight. I have come to a few realizations. I know that relationships don't go bad over night, much as the connection made between two people is not made over night... But I also think there are key moments in any relationship, from friends, lovers, co-workers, whatever; that a decision is made by one or more of the parties that may seem trivial at that moment. from as simple as "oh I don't need to tell person X about this thing, because they wouldn't care" to something more serious like "well the reaction I got when I shared what was on my mind was not plesent, so I will just not share anymore" the fact is that once a decision like that is made, the relationship changes. maybe for the good in the short term, but more than likely for the bad in the long run.

I don't pretend to believe that there is a perfect relationship. I think that every relationship has its ups and downs. the trouble that I have is that I don't know when a relationship becomes wrong, or at what point after meeting someone that it becomes right. I have to admit, that lately I have enjoyed sitting at home alone usually in the dark. When I am not working, I have taken to enjoying some TV or just sitting in the dark and listening to music.

I know that I work to much, I took this weekend to relax a little. unfortunately I was also fairly stressed out for a good part of it. I wish that I could have actually got a few more things done. but I really think that I needed to relax this weekend. I also think that I need to take a little step back this week. I know that I am going to be super busy at work. but I really need to step back and relax take some time for me and the stuff I have been putting off.

Lazy Weekend

I thought I would sum up my whole weekend in one post... heck one Word... LAZY...
I did get some of the normal stuff done, mowing the lawn, skimming the pool. For the most part I vegged, played video games and did a whole lot of nothing.

The highlight of the weekend I think was finishing the third season of house... lol... OOOO and went to Oregon stop pizza, it should be noted, that they were no longer making pizza because we got there an hour before they closed, but my friend erich and I sat and listened to them play some music, one of which was a medaley of phantom of the opera music.. I thought it was pretty amazing. I think that Erich did too.

I did, go to a friends Labor Day party, it was pretty laid back. I cooked some burgers and doge, apparently no one else was brave enough to atack the wild BBQ...

All in all a fairly successful weekend wasted... it was AWSOME.. LOL wish my neck wasn't so sore though, must have slept on it wrong.

At work.. random thoughts

So today started fairly exciting.. I found out that the software I work with on a daily basis was bought by HP. This means that I will be in for some pretty serious changes at work, the extent of these is not known just yet. No matter what happens I am keeping my fingers crossed I hope that it is for the best.

I went to lunch with caddy eric today... ate a little more than I prolly should have, but now I am feeling pretty mellow, might be other reasons for that, but its all good for now. Thought I would just update this a little since it has been a while.

I spent the weekend on the house.. I had originally planned to go to san diego, and it just didn't work out. I still need to mow the grass when I get home, but for the most part I think that I got alot of the stuff that I have wanted to done. Finally got more clorine for the pool. I put that off WAY to long. I also cleaned out the DE filter and added more dirt.... that still sounds a little odd to say..

I think I will have a few really heavy posts coming up.. but thats all for now I think.

Monday after moving.

Well, here I am... sitting at work, a home owner. Wow that really sounds weird to say...

I got a call late on Friday afternoon saying the house had funded and was officially recorded. being neurotic about the whole thing, and having loaded up Erich's borrowed truck and trailer the night before at midnight, I was more than ready to go. Went and met the listing agant at the house, (who also lives 3 doors down) to pickup keys. The Previous owners grandauter was there, tieing down the king size bed that her father/grandfather had given to her (instead of me as he had promised oh well) so I got to meet her, which was more than a little weird.

Since I am at work, I need to condence this a little bit. I got that load of stuff into the garage and made one more that day, then it was time to go see cammeron's play. Erich came up and met me at my new place and we both took the woody wagon out to the play which was in goodyear.... I can't belive how far out that is... LOL The play was really good and after it was over we all went to in and out, Cam decided he wanted to come up and see the new place...

The first night spent in my new place was a little odd, little sounds that I was not used to, the shadows cast on the wall and of course all my stuff not put away yet. Saturday I spent most of the day moving stuff, Loren and I went to breakfast and he helped me out quite a bit. We moved the two non-drivable cars to the new house, and got the rest of the stuff from his place and what I had purchased from the neighbor so by the end of the day, most everything was moved. Loren and Erich came over, we had pizza and moved some stuff around, they both went home and I got in the hot-tub and relaxed, that is SOOO wonderful LOL...

Sunday I spent most of the the day running around returning the trailer and going to the home depot, then hanging out with Erich N and his roommate jon. we came back to my place and they helped me pull some cable from one room to the other, I need to call cox today and look into cable service and internet. the house has never had cable, so I will have to see if they are goint to charge me or not..

I think that is all the update I have so far, wanted to get something written down since I don't have internet at the house yet, figured now is as good of a time as any to get all this stuff in writing.
